Building site rubble collapses, 11 killed

NEW DELHI, Dec. 25 (UPI) -- A pile of excavated earth at a building site in India's capital of New Delhi caved in Sunday, killing at least 11 people.

The BBC quoted emergency workers as saying 18 other people may be buried under the debris. The workers were preparing the site for a huge commercial complex when the incident occurred.

Rescue operations were continuing.
