Bomb hoax forces parliament's evacuation

NEW DELHI, Dec. 16 (UPI) -- A bomb threat that cleared India's parliament Friday turned out to be a hoax, and lawmakers were back at work three hours later.

The threat was received though an e-mail and authorities quickly evacuated some 4,000 people including members of parliament, the Hindustan Times reported.
