Pistons fan arrested after quarter thrown

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., April 27 (UPI) -- A Taylor, Mich., man has been arrested for allegedly throwing a quarter at a Detroit Pistons game, WDIV-TV, Detroit, reported Wednesday.

Witnesses said the man threw a coin that hit Philadelphia 76er Allan Iverson in his back at The Palace of Auburn Hills Tuesday night. Iverson had just been pulled out of the game.

Palace security and police were notified of the incident, and the man was taken into custody.

Iverson, who filed a police report, said he does not blame Pistons fans for the incident, as there was only one man involved.
