Qureia: No coordination on disengagement

GAZA, March 27 (UPI) -- Palestinian Premier Ahmed Qureia said Sunday there is no coordination by Israel on implementing the disengagement plan with the Palestinians.

Asked by reporters about the Israeli pullout from Gaza and four West Bank settlements, Qureia said: "We are not in favor of direct coordination with Israel in a decision that was unilaterally decided by Prime Minister Ariel Sharon.

"Sharon's strategy depends on the solution that he wants only. He made his decision and he earned his government and the Knesset support for it and also convinced the world and no one asked him one single question," said Qureia.
