Malaysia, Thailand discuss security issues

PHUKET, Thailand, Oct. 14 (UPI) -- Prime ministers from Thailand and Malaysia met Wednesday in Phuket to discuss mutual security issues, The Straits Times reported.

Among the issues discussed was the impending introduction of a "smart card" for frequent travelers between the two nations. The cards are designed to make traveling between both countries hassle-free, but will also enable government agencies on both sides of the border to stop "undesirable elements."
