Fresh blasts kill 11 in India

NEW DELHI, Oct. 3 (UPI) -- Another wave of explosions in troubled north-eastern India killed at least 11 Sunday, bringing the total number of those killed to 67 people.

The string of blasts, many in Assam state markets, also injured at least 30, the BBC reported.

Police have blamed the attacks on the National Democratic Front of Bodoland, a separatist group.

The bombings followed a string of similar attacks Saturday, that killed at least 56.
