Marine in Iraq expecting quintuplets

OSWEGO, Ill., Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Marine Reservist Josh Horton is two weeks into his tour of duty in Iraq and six weeks away from becoming a new father -- of quintuplets.

Taunacy Horton, 28, a Navy veteran in Oswego, Ill., hopes her husband will be home in time to share in the delivery of the first set of quints -- three girls and two boys -- at Edward Hospital in Naperville, expected Nov. 1, the Arlington Heights Daily Herald reported.

The couple met in the service and married eight years ago. When asked why her husband would go to Iraq under such circumstances, Taunacy said, "He would tell people he was going so somebody else's family can have their dad home for a while.

"I'm bound and determined to show that the Navy is better than the Marines," she joked. "And I think this proves it. I don't think he'll ever be able to top this."

The couple also has a 7-year-old son and a 5-year-old daughter.
