Jail sentence requested for Israeli dealer

BEIRUT, Lebanon, May 28 (UPI) -- A military judge Friday charged a Lebanese citizen with dealing with Israel and requested a three-year prison sentence, judicial sources said.

The sources said George Saadeh, a Christian, was accused of importing car batteries from Israel in 2003, despite a state of war between the two countries.
