Photo introduced in antifreeze trial

MIAMI, May 5 (UPI) -- A picture of an antifreeze container has been added to evidence against a former Atlanta area 911 operator accused of poisoning her husband.

Lynn Turner, 35, a former operator for Cobb County, is on trial on charges of murdering her husband, police officer Glenn Turner, by giving him antifreeze.

A picture of the living room at their home showing the container on the floor was introduced into evidence Wednesday, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

"It shows there was antifreeze available," said prosecutor Suss Parker.

Detective Charles Mazariegos of the Cobb County police department said he was unaware of the significance of the container when he took the photograph after the murder in 1995.

But he said there was no question what it was.

Testimony in the trial began Friday. Investigators said Turner is also suspected of a murder by similar means of her boyfriend, firefighter Randy Thompson, in 2001.
