Egyptian kills noisy neighbors

CAIRO, March 17 (UPI) -- An Egyptian stabbed three people to death, including a child, for making noise and letting their dog free in the entrance of his building in a Cairo suburb.

Police said the triple crime took place Tuesday night when Mohammed Mustafa Toumi, 48, attacked his three neighbors with a kitchen knife because he was infuriated by the noise their small daughter made while playing with a ball and the dog in the entrance of the building.

Sources said Toumi, a Muslim, is unemployed and suffered from schizophrenia.
