DOHA, Qatar, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- The No. 2 man in the al-Qaida terror network has made another threat of violence against the United States, Sky News reported Tuesday.

The threats were heard in a tape sent to the Qatar-based al-Jazeera network.

In the tape, Ayman al-Zawahri also accused U.S. President George Bush of exaggerating success in capturing al-Qaida operatives.

"The Islamic nation which sent you the New York and Washington brigades has taken the firm decision to send you successive brigades to sow death and aspire to paradise," al-Zawahri said.

"Bush's allegation that his troops have arrested more than two-thirds of al-Qaida ... is full of lies."
