Bush-Jiang discuss North Korea nukes

WASHINGTON, Feb. 7 (UPI) -- President Bush spoke by 'phone Friday with Chinese President Jiang Zemin about how to exert diplomatic pressure on North Korea to abandon its nuclear program. Bush said he reminded the leader of China, North Korea's closest ally, of their earlier agreement that the Korean peninsula must be free of nuclear arms.
