DOJ files in affirmative action cases

WASHINGTON, Jan. 17 (UPI) -- The Justice Department filed two briefs at the Supreme Court challenging race-based college admissions policies. The briefs, filed late Thursday, said the University of Michigan's policies violated the Constitution and Supreme Court precedent.
