Campaign finance law opponents go to court

WASHINGTON, Dec. 4 (UPI) -- Opponents of a law that bans unregulated contributions to political parties told a federal court Wednesday that the measure unconstitutionally infringes on free speech. Lawyers for the government defended the law, saying it helped avoid the appearance of corruption.
