Kopp says he shot doctor but is innocent

BUFFALO, N.Y., Nov. 20 (UPI) -- The man charged with killing Amherst, N.Y., abortion provider Dr. Barnett Slepian told the Buffalo News he only wanted to wound the physician. James Kopp said he planned the shooting for a year.
