Bush fundraises for Jeb and the GOP

WASHINGTON, Oct. 17 (UPI) -- Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and other GOP candidates were getting a financial boost Thursday, courtesy of the president. George W. Bush was appearing at a private function in Daytona Beach, where it was expected he would raise some $900,000 for Republicans; he was also expected to raise $800,000 earlier in the day in Georgia for GOP hopefuls in that state.
