Janet Reno's recount bid rejected

MIAMI, Sept. 13 (UPI) -- The state elections comission has denied former Attorney General Janet Reno's request for a statewide recount of the vote in Florida Democratic primary for governor. Tampa attorney Bill McBride has 8,194 more votes and has declared himself the winner, but at least one county still plans to re-examine its returns.
