CLEVELAND, July 30 (UPI) -- Notice to police: It's Bettie, not Betty, Horton who's named on those warrants.
Betty Horton, 44, has been arrested three times since December -- even though she hasn't done anything. Police acknowledge she's squeaky clean and it's Bettie Horton, 37, whereabouts unknown, they really want.
"I'm scared. Every time I see the police, I think I'm going to get arrested," Betty told Tuesday's Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Betty first learned about Bettie when the former tried to renew her driver's license. She was taken to a back room, handcuffed, transported to the police station and fingerprinted before police figured out she wasn't Bettie.
Betty was arrested a second time when she went to visit someone at the county jail and most recently Saturday when she was stopped for speeding -- despite the Justice Center card she carries noting she's not Bettie.
Bettie is wanted on a year-old drug warrant.
