Bomb standoff ends at LA Times building

LOS ANGELES, July 29 (UPI) -- A four-hour standoff in the parking garage of the Los Angeles Times came to a close Monday night with the arrest of a man who claimed to have a bomb. It was not immediately known if there actually were explosives in the suspect's backpack, but the newspaper building was evacuated.
