FBI, CIA heads push Bush security plan

WASHINGTON, June 27 (UPI) -- The president's proposed consolidation of dozens of federal agencies under a new homeland security agency will improve anti-terror performance without duplicating resources, the heads of the CIA and FBI told a Senate panel Thursday. Both men said the agency would help with prevention of terrorism, while their agencies can concentrate on defeating terrorist groups.
