First WTC ceremony, last beam cut

NEW YORK, May 28 (UPI) -- The last steel beam left standing from the World Trade Center was cut down in a ceremony Tuesday as the nearly nine months of nonstop recovery effort comes to an end. The city is planning an official closing ceremony on Thursday.
