Board refuses to halt Beazley execution

HUNTSVILLE, Texas, May 28 (UPI) -- The Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles Tuesday refused to stop the execution of Napoleon Beazley or recommend commutation of his death sentence for killing a man when he was 17. Beazley's attorneys may again ask the U.S. Supreme Court to halt his execution scheduled at 6 p.m. CDT Tuesday, although the high court rejected an appeal filed last week.
