Bishop offers resignation in sex case

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla., March 8 (UPI) -- The bishop of the diocese Palm Beach, Fla., Anthony J. O'Connell, offered his resignation Friday after admitting to improper sexual touching with a seminary student in Hannibal, Mo., 25 years ago. The student's allegations resulted in removal of another priest this week.
