GE purchases Enron wind-turbine business

HOUSTON, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- GE Power Systems agreed Wednesday to purchase the wind-turbine business of Enron Corp., the bankrupt Houston energy company. The purchase of Enron Wind Corp., a global manufacturer of wind turbine generators, is expected to close in April 2002.
