Unique rescue planned for 7,500 turtles

FORT WORTH, Texas, Dec. 19 (UPI) -- A unique international rescue was being organized Wednesday to save nearly 7,500 endangered turtles confiscated last week by Hong Kong Customs. Organizers plan to fly most of the turtles to Miami, Fla., the day after Christmas where they will be screened and distributed to zoos and other locations around the country.
