Until Samsung's Galaxy Note 4 hits the shelf, the Samsung Galaxy S5 is the only thing left to compete with Apple's larger iPhone.
The Galaxy S5 and iPhone 6 are both great phones, but which one should you choose?
Here's a great comparison chart from Etrade Supply that stacks the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the iPhone 6 side by side:
Display:
The iPhone 6 has a beautiful Retina display, but compared to the S5's 5.1 inch display, there's no match. Plus, the S5's 1920x1080 resolution and 432ppi knocks the iPhone 6's 1334x750 resolution and 326ppi.
Camera:
Either unit comes out of the box with 16GB. If you want to throw in a couple more bucks, the S5 can be purchased with 32GB of storage. Meanwhile, the iPhone 6 gives you the option to purchase 64GB and if you ever really need it, a 128GB storage option.
It boils down to this:
If you live on Gmail, Google Docs, Calendar and crave amazing phone features, go with the Samsung Galaxy S5.
If you have a Mac at home, use an icloud.com email address and enjoy simplicity, go with the iPhone 6.
