March 30 (UPI) -- It must have been a one-of-a-kind rookie hazing scheme if Gilbert Arenas still remembers it to this day.

At the time, Arenas was a seven-year veteran hooping for the Washington Wizards. Nick 'Swaggy P' Young was only a rookie, coming out of the first round in the 2007 NBA Draft.

Arenas took to Instagram Thursday to blast Young, posing a photo of the 10-year veteran laying in a bed at 22-years-old. His hands were tied behind his back and he had cash spread all over him.

"#TBT when i found @swaggyp1 hogged tied in his room, his rookie season #50shadesofNick welcome to stripping game playa #hazingTherook#wizDays." Arenas wrote.

Arenas, 35, last played during the 2011 season for the Memphis Grizzlies. The three-time All-Star played 11 seasons for the Golden State Warriors, Wizards, and Orlando Magic.

Arenas was notoriously suspended in 2010, one day after he was photographed pointing his finger at teammates like a gun. He was under investigation at the time by federal and local authorities after he admitted to bringing guns into the team's locker room.

He later reached a plea deal after being charged with a felony.

Young, 31, is averaging 13.2 points and 2.3 assists this season for the Los Angeles Lakers.
