NBA: Indiana 101, Portland 93

INDIANAPOLIS, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Danny Granger scored nine of his 20 points in the fourth quarter Saturday to lead the Indiana Pacers' 101-93 win over the Portland Trail Blazers.

Indiana built a 91-77 lead with 5:50 left on Travis Diener's three-pointer after a slim 71-63 advantage when the final 12 minutes started.

Diener scored 15 points with nine assists. Troy Murphy had 13 points and eight rebounds.

Mike Dunleavy scored 11, and both Kareem Rush and Jeff Foster scored 10, with Foster adding 14 rebounds for the Pacers, who beat Portland for the ninth straight time.

Portland got 21 points and 11 rebounds from star rookie forward LaMarcus Aldridge. Martell Webster had 18 points and eight rebounds, and Jarrett Jack and Travis Outlaw scored 15 each.

Channing Frye had 14 points and five rebounds while Jack added 10 assists for the Blazers, who played their second straight game without leading scorer Brandon Roy, who is out because of a death in his family.
