OTTAWA, Dec. 16 (UPI) -- Dany Heatley scored twice Saturday in the Ottawa Senators' 7-3 rout of Atlanta.

The goals, scored in the second and third periods, gave Heatley 20 this season.

Five others scored once. Three players had two assists, while Martin Gerber made 22 saves on 25 shots for the Senators, who have a five-game winning streak.

Atlanta got two goals from Ilya Kovalchuk and one from Eric Perrin.

Goaltenders Johan Hedberg and Kari Lehtonen yielded seven goals on 44 shots for the Thrashers, who have dropped four straight.

On the power play, the Thrashers went 1 for 6 and Ottawa went 1 for 5.
