Geovany Soto's two-run homer put Chicago in front in the second, but the Diamondbacks scored four times in the bottom half to take the lead for good.

Chris Snyder singled off Ted Lilly, Justin Upton walked and the runners were moved up on a sacrifice by pitcher Doug Davis. Young then hit his home run to give Arizona the lead, after which Stephen Drew singled and Eric Byrnes drove him home with a triple.

Drew added a two-run triple in the fourth.

Davis got the win, giving up all four Chicago runs on five hits over 5 2/3 innings.

The Cubs, who went one for 10 with runners in scoring position while losing the series opener, stranded nine runners Thursday night.
