NEW YORK, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- Pau Gasol of Memphis and San Antonio guard Tony Parker headline the reserves named for the Western Conference All-Stars on Thursday.
Also named to the squad were Seattle guard Ray Allen, and forwards Dirk Nowitzki of Dallas, Elton Brand of the Los Angeles Clippers, Kevin Garnett of Minnesota and Shawn Marion of the Phoenix Suns.
The starting team for the West, named earlier, will be guard/forward Tracy McGrady and center Yao Ming of Houston, Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant, guard Steve Nash of Phoenix and San Antonio forward Tim Duncan. The team will be coached by San Antonio's Gregg Popovich and will be played Sunday, Feb. 19 in Houston.
Among the reserves for the East will be four members of the Detroit Pistons: guards Chauncey Billups and Richard Hamilton, and forwards Ben Wallace and Rasheed Wallace.
