MLB: Chicago W Sox 14, Kansas City 6

KANSAS CITY, Mo., July 26 (UPI) -- Jermaine Dye went 3-for-6 with four RBI in a 22-hit attack for Chicago as the White Sox drubbed Kansas City 14-6 at Kauffman Stadium.

Dye was one of six Chicago starters with three hits and helped provide Freddy Garcia with his 10th win of the season. Juan Uribe finished 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI while A.J. Pierzynski also had three hits, including a solo homer, and drove in a pair of runs.

Terrence Long ended 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI while David DeJesus collected three hits and scored three times for the Royals.

Garcia (10-4) surrendered 12 hits and five runs over six innings, but fanned seven and did not walk a batter to improve to 8-1 on the road.

Zack Greinke (3-12) lasted just 3 1/3 innings and allowed 10 hits and eight runs -- seven earned.
