Historians: Hitler had a malformed penis

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Adolf Hitler's view of the world might partly have been due to his malformed penis, two historians have found.

Some of Hitler's medical records were recently unearthed by historians Jonathan Mayo and Emma Craigie for their new book Hitler's Last Day - Minute by Minute, and in it, the authors write the German dictator might have had a condition called hypospadias.

The condition, which can occur in one out of every 200 boys, causes the penis to appear small and the urethra opening to be at the base of the penis instead of at the tip.

Rumors of Hitler having a "micro-penis" have not been proven. In an interview with The Independent, Craigie said no one is certain and that any suggestion he had a "micro-penis" because he potentially suffered from hypospadias was a "leap." The historian said that she had not seen any evidence to suggest anything more than general hypospadias.

The revelation comes just a few months after another historian seemingly confirmed longtime rumors and found the dictator had only one descended testicle.

Hitler had a longtime relationship with Eva Braun, and committed suicide with her in a bunker on April 30, 1945 as the allies marched into Germany. But historians have argued the couple had a normal sex life, even if his personal doctor, Theodor Morell, allegedly diagnosed Hitler with hypospadias as well. He is said to have prescribed Hitler with hormones and amphetamines to improve his sex life.
