LOS ANGELES, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Five of six Friends stars reunite in a new promo for NBC's All-Star Tribute to James Burrows.
"We would do anything for Jim Burrows because he really gave us the opportunity of a lifetime, and probably the best 10 years of our acting careers, that we will forever remember," Aniston said.
"We experienced friendship, family, heartbreak, babies, everything together," she added. "We also had a wonderful experience with the world loving us as well. They connected with us."
Burrows directed 15 episodes of Friends, including the pilot, which had a 10-season run from 1994 to 2004 on NBC. In addition, he is known for his work on Cheers, Frasier and Will & Grace, whose casts also reassembled for the TV special.
Noticeably missing from the special was Matthew Perry, who was rehearsing for his forthcoming play, The End of Longing, in London. The 46-year-old actor recently told BBC Radio Two he believes the cast would be open to another reunion.
"I think we would be open to doing something," he said. "Some kind of maybe TV special. I don't know about a movie. It's kind of tough because [Friends] ended on such a high note that we don't want to ruin it. We'd want to be really careful."
Must See TV: An All-Star Tribute to James Burrows will air Sunday at 9 p.m. ET.
