The lineup for the June 2 show will also include Ellie Goulding, Florence + the Machine, John Legend and Timbaland.

Presenters will include Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Blake Lively, Gloria Steinem, Jada Pinkett-Smith, James Franco, Madonna, Salma Hayek Pinault and Zoe Saldana.

Public service announcements featuring Franco, Ben Affleck, Halle Berry, Julia Roberts, Gwyneth Paltrow and other influential A-list celebrities will also be a part of the special.

NBC described the concert as "the centerpiece of Chime for Change, a new campaign to raise funds and awareness for female empowerment around the world, distributed to non-profit organizations focused in the key areas of education, healthcare and justice."
