Kate Hudson, Olivia Wilde, other Hollywood stars post selfies after voting

NEW YORK, Nov. 8 (UPI) -- Patton Oswalt, Olivia Wilde, Jason Sudeikis, Taylor Swift, Kate Hudson, Mindy Kaling and Taraji P. Henson posted selfies on social media after voting for the new U.S. president Tuesday.

"Baby girl's first election. It's a cool time to be alive. #tearsofjoy," Wilde captioned a photo of her standing next to her fiance Sudeikis with their infant daughter in a carrier strapped to her chest.

Henson shared a cute video of her holding up her hand with an "I Voted" sticker on her palm, then peeking out from behind it. The message, "Vote" with three red-lip emojis, accompanies the clip.

Swift offered a photo of her standing on a long line to get into her polling station.

"Today is the day. Go out and VOTE," she told her fans.

Oswalt tweeted out an image of himself with his little girl with stickers on their foreheads.

"No way does she grow up in your slo-mo temper tantrum version of America, @realDonaldTrump," he wrote.

Another photo showed Hudson holding up her sticker to her lips, while Kaling sported her badge on the lapel of her coat.
