Shia LaBeouf spotted with Alcoholics Anonymous book after NY arrest

LOS ANGELES, July 1 (UPI) -- One day after reports surfaced that Shia LaBeouf has entered rehab, the actor was seen walking around Los Angeles with an Alcoholics Anonymous book.

The actor's outing comes days after he was arrested in New York City for disorderly conduct. LaBeouf was scorted out of a Cabaret broadway performance Thursday after he reportedly slapped patrons on the butt and the head and was heard screaming profanities and seen lighting a cigarette in the theater.

Thursday's events come as no surprise to anyone who has been following the Transformers star's behavior as of late. LaBeouf made headlines in January after announcing his retirement from public life and in December 2013 for reportedly plagiarizing in his debut short film, HowardCantour.com.
