Sara Gilbert and Linda Perry got married

Sara Gilbert and Linda Perry are married.

Gilbert's rep confirmed the news to Us Weekly adding that the duo tied the knot Sunday. The statement comes a day after Juliette Lewis tweeted about the nuptials.

"Holiday by Madonna playin, sun is beaming,gettin ready 4 the wedding of 1of my fave couples in the universe @RealLindaPerry @THEsaragilbert," Lewis wrote Saturday.

The wedding took place "at sunset, and overlooking the ocean," Gilbert's The Talk co-host Aisha Tyler revealed during Monday's show. Julie Chen added that Gilbert is currently on her honeymoon and promised that more details will be shared when she returns on Monday, April 7.

Gilbert, 39, and Perry, 48, began dating in 2011, just a year after the former child star came out as a lesbian. The Talk co-host announced her engagement to Perry in April 2013.

Gilbert has two children a son, Levi Hank born in 2004, and a daughter, Sawyer born in 2007, from her relationship with TV producer Allison Adler.
