Nikki Reed is getting back to her normal routine following her split from Paul McDonald.
The 25-year-old Twilight star was seen leaving a gym in Los Angeles Saturday just hours after it was revealed that she was ending her two-year marriage to the American Idol musician.
"After much consideration, Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald are ending their marriage. They have been living separately for the past six months due to work obligations," read a statement released by the actress' rep.
"They will continue to share their love of music, and are still working on their debut album, I'm Not Falling, releasing in 2014. They remain best friends and look forward to their continued journey together," the statement continued.
Reed and McDonald met at the Red Riding Hood premiere in March 2011. The duo tied the knot seven months later, in a private ceremony in Malibu in October 2011.
