Tyler suffered a broken shoulder and bumps to his head and neck when he fell off the stage during a performance Wednesday at the Stugis, S.D., motorcycle rally. He was airlifted to an area hospital after the incident.

In a post to the social networking Web site Twitter, Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry's wife said Tyler was in his home town of Boston Friday, MTV.com reported.

"He hit his head and back. No concussion, stitches in head and back near shoulder. Broken shoulder. Yes he is very sore. We were all worried," Billy Perry tweeted.

A statement issued by the band's publicist said the remainder of the tour was in doubt, MTV.com said.

Plane with Kutcher, Moore forced to land

LAS VEGAS, Aug. 7 (UPI) -- A private plane with actors Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore aboard was forced to return to the Las Vegas airport shortly after takeoff, airport officials said.

The twin-engine Hawker Beechcraft plane returned to McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas for an emergency landing after a warning light indicated engines were "overperforming," signaling a possible problem, an airport spokesman told CNN.

On the online social Web site Twitter, Kutcher tweeted, "my plane just had to do an emergency landing. Engine over heated. fire trucks everywhere. good times."

His wife, Moore, posted a picture on her Twitter page and messaged, "Yep it is always an adventure in Vegas emergency landing and all!"

The emergency landing was uneventful and no one was injured, the airport spokesman said. Besides Kutcher and Moore, the plane carried six passengers and crew.

Screenwriters Web site eco-friendly

HOLLYWOOD, Aug. 7 (UPI) -- A new Web-based community offers a free venue for screenwriters and access to Hollywood studios while saving trees in the process, the site's developers said.

Greenwriter.org gives writers a chance to showcase their works with a legitimate, professional interface designed to meet studios' needs while saving time and money, the site's founders said in a news release.

Using the site's search functions, studios can locate screenplays ranging from mockumentaries to biographies, company founder and screenwriter Daniel Riser said. In addition, actors, directors, agents and independent investors can access written works and contact writers directly to strike a deal independently of the site, he said.

Also, he noted, every year screenwriters print 200,000 screenplays. Greenwriter.org eliminates printing 10 copies and sending them to studios.

He said his site was a legitimate sourcing opportunity, not an online scam.

"There are so many scams out there that target starving artists," Riser said. "I wanted to put an end to that. In an age when the Internet-at-large gives many things away for free, there is no reason a writer should have to pay to get his screenplay into the hands of a buyer."
