SOPRANOS FINAL EPISODE ARRIVALS

NEW YORK, March 18 (UPI) -- The series finale of the 1970s-set, sci-fi New York cop drama "Life on Mars" is scheduled to air next month, ABC announced.

The U.S. adaptation of the popular British television show stars Jason O'Mara, Harvey Keitel, Michael Imperioli, Gretchen Mol and Jonathan Murphy. The American version of "Mars" will have run one season when it concludes April 1.

"Sam Tyler's past, present and future all confront him when he receives a phone call with instructions on how he can return to 2008: All he needs to do is complete three tasks," ABC said in a release. "But a dizzying set of circumstances inside and out of the (125th Precinct) makes him think twice. When love, death, promise, hope, fear and mystery converge, will Sam decide to stay in 1973 or return to the future?"
