LONDON, Sept. 24 (UPI) -- U.S. rapper 50 Cent has rescheduled his U.K. tour, quashing -- for the moment -- rumors he plans to retire.

The rapper recently made headlines when he vowed to give up his solo career if his album "Curtis" did not out-sell Kanye West's "Graduation."

As West's CD beat 50 Cent's album in a race to the top of both the U.S. and U.K. charts, 50 Cent postponed his U.K. tour and canceled appearances on two awards shows in London.

However, the rapper has since announced he will play eight arena gigs in England, Wales and Scotland in November, the BBC reported Monday.

Tickets for the concerts go on sale Saturday.
