Video games focus of USA Network series

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 6 (UPI) -- Next month, the USA Network will debut a TV series focused on video games and on related competitions by Major League Gaming that surrounds them.

Daily Variety reported that the cable TV network will debut the seven-episode series, entitled "Boost Mobile Major League Gaming Pro Circuit," on Nov. 11 and it will revolve around the world of competitive video gaming and the lives of those who compete within it.

Sundance DiGiovanni, one of the founders of the professional video gaming league, told Daily Variety that his organization "has the best players in the world signed to exclusive contracts" and that the new series will allow viewers a chance to see behind-the-scenes footage of their lives.

The paper said that the series, which has Boost Mobile, Gamestop and Scion as its sponsors, will see all its episodes aired Saturday mornings on the cable network.
