Jude Law plans to remake 'Sleuth'

LONDON, July 4 (UPI) -- British film stars Jude Law and Michael Caine are reportedly making plans to remake Caine's classic thriller "Sleuth."

The actors have a script in hand from playwright Harold Pinter, the Daily Mirror reported Tuesday.

Caine would play Andrew Wyke and Law would take over the role of Milo Tindle, the part Caine played in the 1972 film.

It would mark the second time Law followed Caine's footsteps, the newspaper noted. Law remade Caine's classic, "Alfie," in 2004.
