LONDON, April 13 (UPI) -- Organizers of Britain's massive Glastonbury music festival have their eyes set on Australian pop star Kylie Minogue as their 2007 headliner.
Minogue was set to top the 2005 festival bill in the Vale of Avalon, but was forced to pull out when she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
However, after eight months of chemotherapy, Minogue "really wants to do it, fingers crossed," Glastonbury organizer Michael Eavis told The Guardian.
Eavis said "her people a quite confident" the singer will be ready to perform at the summer 2007 event.
After she was forced to pull out last year, Coldplay and Basement Jaxx paid tribute to Minogue by covering her hit, "Can't Get You Out of My Head," The Guardian said.
Minogue had said although she was "desperately sad" about missing the festival, the rockers made her feel she was "still a part of it."
