Lifetime to rerun 'Desperate Housewives'

NEW YORK, April 7 (UPI) -- The Lifetime Television network announced Friday it has acquired the basic cable rights to broadcast ABC's "Desperate Housewives."

Lifetime will start airing the first season of the show starting in August, it announced in a news release.

The price tag on the deal with Buena Vista Television was not released.
