LOS ANGELES, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Actress Brooke Shields revealed Tuesday she's giving her daughter Rowan a little sister.
"It's a girl," Shields told People magazine about the baby she and Chris Henchy are due to welcome in May.
The couple's first daughter, Rowan, is 2.
"I'm thrilled for my daughter to have a little friend," she said. "Two Tauruses, it's this huge trick being played on me."
Shields, 40, wrote a book after Rowan's birth detailing her experience with postpartum depression.
She has been quoted as saying she does not expect a recurrence of the affliction because, "I'm informed now."
