NEW YORK, Nov. 17 (UPI) -- A 2-month-old baby has died an apparent accidental death just a day after his parents learned on "Maury" his "daddy" was not his biological father.
Ayden Annes-Hensley may have suffocated in a New York hotel bed where he was sleeping with his 19-year-old mother, Samantha Preston, and her live-in boyfriend, Robert Hensley, the New York Post reported Thursday.
The couple had traveled from Florida for a taping Tuesday of an upcoming Maury Povich TV show, sources told the newspaper. It was revealed during the taping that another roommate, not Hensley, was the baby's real father.
The infant was discovered not breathing Wednesday morning, the Post said. He was taken to an area hospital by ambulance, but could not be revived.
Speculation pending autopsy reports is that the baby may have been accidentally smothered.
"Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family," Povich said.
