HOLLYWOOD, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are off working on their own projects as rumors fly that Pitt had an affair with Angelina Jolie.
A day after Pitt, 41, and Aniston, 35, announced their four-year marriage was over, they shared a plane to Los Angeles and went their separate ways, the New York Daily News reported Sunday.
Their $13-million Beverly Hills mansion sits empty, as Pitt gets ready for a trip to Japan next week to pump "Ocean's Twelve" and Aniston shoots a new movie elsewhere.
They aren't talking about what caused them to split, but the London tabloid News of the World reports that Pitt and Jolie carried on a one-year affair while shooting the thriller, "Mr. and Mrs. Smith."
According to the tabloid, an anonymous source says Aniston learned of the affair when she listened in on a telephone call between the two in which they engaged in phone sex.
