CLARKSVILLE, Tenn., Oct. 25 (UPI) -- A daughter of country music legend June Carter Cash and a Nashville bluegrass musician were found dead in a bus, a Tennessee newspaper said Saturday.

Rosie Nix Adams, 45, a singer-songwriter, and Jimmy Campbell, 40, a bluegrass fiddle player, died in a bus parked behind a house on a state highway, the Montgomery Leaf-Chronicle said.

Officials speculated carbon monoxide from lanterns in the bus possibly caused the deaths. Adams and her husband, Philip Adams, had recently sold a home in Montgomery County and were preparing to travel in the bus, which they had parked behind the house for repairs.

Adams was the daughter of June Carter Cash and Richard Nix.

Rosie Adams' death is another blow to the legendary Carter family, known as the first family of country music. It follows the death of her mother in May and the death of her stepfather, country superstar Johnny Cash, in September.

Jasmine Guy leaves Broadway play

NEW YORK, Oct. 25 (UPI) -- An unnamed illness has caused Jasmine Guy to leave her new play, "The Violet Hour," less than two weeks before opening night on Broadway.

The play's spokesman, Jim Byk, said Friday night, that Guy left the production at intermission of Thursday night's preview, for "medical reasons," but he refused further detail, the New York Daily News reported.

"To my deepest regret, I need to leave the production at this time," Guy said in a statement released by Byk.

The 39-year-old actress has appeared in several films and television series but she is best known for her role as Whitley Gilbert Wayne on the series "A Different World," a "Cosby Show" spinoff that began in 1987.

Guy is being replaced by understudy Robin Miles who will now open the show on Nov. 6 at the newly restored Biltmore Theater.

The drama's author, Richard Greenberg, won the Tony Award for best play in June for "Take Me Out."

Call for lifting of Disneyland flight ban

ANAHEIM, Calif., Oct. 25 (UPI) -- The manager of an airport near California's Disneyland wants the post-Sept. 11 anti-terror airspace restriction lifted, the Los Angeles Times said Saturday.

Rob Propst, manager of the Fullerton County Municipal Airport said the ban is putting pilots at risk, and he would at least like clarification as to why the restrictions are still in place.

The restrictions ban flights under 3,000 feet within a 3.3-mile radius of Disneyland, and were imposed as part of blanket temporary flight restrictions issued by the Federal Aviation Administration after the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

This year, Congress approved a 3,000-page omnibus spending bill that, among other things, extended post-Sept. 11 flight restrictions. Although the legislation didn't mention Disneyland, on March 18 the FAA issued notices to aviators specifically prohibiting flights over it and Florida's Disney World.

The problem for pilots taking off from Fullerton is that to avoid the banned airspace, they must depart to the north, which forces them to cross the path of aircraft approaching from the east.
